Yummy! This recipe combines our vegan Easy Mix Fishcakes with a delicious mustard sauce and creamy mashed potatoes - you'll love it!
Ingredients
For about 2 servings || Enjoy in about 45 minutes
- ½ pack Easy Mix Fishcakes
- 450g potatoes ´
- 1.5 tbsp vegan butter, melted
- 60 ml oat cream
- Salt & pepper
- 2 tbsp vegan butter
- 1 tbsp mustard
- 150 ml vegan cream
- Salt & pepper
- Pinch of sugar
- Fresh parsley


Preparation
Fishcakes:
- Mix and cool the Easy Mix Fishcakes according to instructions on the packaging.
- After cooling, form fishcakes and fry according to instructions on the packaging.
- Wash the potatoes, put them in a pot with water and salt and simmer with the lid on for about 20-25 minutes.
- Drain the potatoes, let them steam out and peel them.
- Then put them back into the pot. Add the butter, oat cream and mash or puree.
- Season to taste with salt and pepper.
- Put the butter and mustard in a small saucepan.
- Heat slowly while whisking (do not let it boil).
- Gradually stir in 1 cup of vegan cream.
- Season to taste with salt, pepper and sugar. Garnish with parsley.
- Serve the mashed potatoes with the fishcakes and mustard sauce on a plate. Enjoy!
