Plant-based vs. animal nutrition

How do I substitute animal-based food products?
Yoghurt
Vegan alternatives to classic yoghurt are plant-based alternatives, e.g. soy, coconut, almond or oat-based yoghurt.
Cream
Many supermarkets already offer a choice of soy, oat or cashew cream.
Cheese
Parmesan cheese made from cashews and walnuts is already available for sprinkling, and nutritional yeast is a good choice for gratinating.
